When a printer is a network printer mapped on the VDA, the printing workflow follows standard server-based printing logic:

The user prints from an application running on the VDA.

The print job is generated and sent from the VDA directly to the network print server.

The print server processes the job and forwards it to the print device.

This creates a “server-side printing path,” which means the job never routes through the endpoint device. The VDA communicates with the print server using the native network printing protocol (typically SMB or IPP), not HDX.

StoreFront system requirements in the Citrix 2402 LTSR documentation specify that StoreFront can only be installed on supported modern Windows Server operating systems. As of the 2402 LTSR release, the minimum supported OS for StoreFront is Windows Server 2019.

Windows Server 2016 and Windows Server 2012 R2 are no longer supported for StoreFront in the 2402 LTSR lifecycle.

Windows Server 2022 is supported, but it is not the minimum requirement — Server 2019 is.

 MAC-based forwarding (MBF) can be used to avoid multiple route/ARP lookups and to avoid asymmetrical packet flows. This means that the content switching virtual server will forward the requests that match its policies to the load balancing virtual server. In this case, the content switching virtual server MYVPN_http has a policy that matches requests for http://server.citrix.lab, so it will forward those requests to the load balancing virtual server Vserver-CS-1. Therefore, the users trying to access http://server.citrix.lab will be connected to the Vserver MYVPN_http, which will then connect them to Vserver-CS-1.

 The Citrix Universal Print Server provides universal printing support for network printers. The Universal Print Server uses the Universal print driver, a single driver on the Multi-session OS machine that allows local or network printing from any device, including thin clients and tablets. This feature can help reduce the number of Windows drivers on the VDA machines by using a single driver for all network printers

 The New-BrokerRebootScheduleV2 cmdlet creates a new reboot schedule for a machine catalog or a delivery group. The -StartTime parameter specifies the start time of the reboot schedule in 24-hour format. The -RebootDuration parameter specifies the time interval in minutes between each machine reboot. The -Frequency parameter specifies how often the reboot schedule occurs. The -DesktopGroupName parameter specifies the name of the delivery group to apply the reboot schedule to. The -Enabled parameter specifies whether the reboot schedule is enabled or not12
